*How it works and terms of service

Free first contact. Send us a WhatsApp message with a short outline of your situation. We will reply as soon as possible (during business hours), letting you know whether your matter falls within our field of practice.

This first reply is free of charge because it is not legal advice and does not create a lawyer–client relationship. Its only purpose is to assess whether your problem is a criminal law matter that fits our professional policy. Please do not send any documents unless we ask for them.

  1. Online or in-person consultation. If we can take on the matter, we will offer you a date and time for a video call or a meeting in person with the lawyer who would handle the case. We will review your situation and explain your options. When we offer you the appointment, we will tell you how to send us any relevant documents you have, electronically.
  2. Fee: €250, VAT included. We will tell you how to pay and send you the corresponding invoice. Payment is always made before the appointment, and you may postpone it free of charge. You may also cancel free of charge if you give us at least 24 hours’ notice.
  3. Credited if you instruct us. If you then instruct us on the matter, the €250 is deducted from our fees.

This number takes messages only, not calls. All information and documents you provide are covered by legal professional privilege.

Who we are

V&V Intervención Legal is a criminal law firm based in Madrid. We practise economic and corporate criminal law, acting for the defence or as private prosecutor (acusación particular) before courts throughout Spain.

We also work preventively, advising companies and their directors on criminal law, and we prepare legal opinions so that business decisions are taken on an informed basis.

We design criminal compliance programmes and provide legal support at shareholders’ meetings and meetings of the company’s governing body.

We conduct negotiations, both in and out of court, wherever a criminal law issue is involved.

We work with international law firms on matters with criminal law implications within the European Union.

How we work

Four ways we can help

Preventive advice

Many criminal problems start with decisions taken without enough information. We help you decide before you act.

Criminal law opinions

Reports on the criminal risk of a transaction or conduct, covering the applicable legal scholarship and case law and the possible courses of action.

Negotiation

Exploring routes to agreement within a criminal law dispute, and formalising settlements in or out of court.

Defence and prosecution in criminal court proceedings

Legal representation from the outset in police or public prosecutor inquiries, throughout the criminal proceedings and before every court, including the National High Court, the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court.

Frequently asked questions

What clients usually ask

What are the fees for the initial consultation?

The first WhatsApp contact is free and is used to assess whether the matter falls within our specialism and our field of practice. If it does, the fee for the consultation, online or in person, is €250, VAT included, an amount that is deducted from the final fees if you instruct us.

Do you only act in Madrid?

No. The firm is based in Madrid and acts before courts throughout Spain, including the National High Court (Audiencia Nacional), the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court.

Do you defend suspects or represent victims?

Both. We defend individuals and companies under investigation, and we act as private prosecutors for companies or individuals who have suffered an economic crime.

Can I phone you?

The number +34 624 33 44 10 takes WhatsApp messages only. We do not take calls, so that there is a written record of the matter and we can reply with the care it deserves.

Once you have instructed us, you will have all the channels you need to contact your lawyer.

When and how should I provide documents about my case?

Once you have formally booked the appointment, you will be told how to send us your documents electronically, which the lawyer will review before your meeting. Please do not send documents unless asked to.

How do you treat the information and documents I give you?

Your information is protected by our duty of professional secrecy and will be used solely for the legal purposes of your case. As regards your personal data, you have the rights granted by current law, which you can exercise through the following link.
